Covid-19 information update
At Fraser Valley Endodontics we are continuing to follow the direction of the Provincial Health Officer and the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia (CDSBC). As a result we have implemented the following:
Plexi-glass barriers have been placed in the reception area to provide protection for reception staff.
All patients will be screened for illness by phone prior to their appointment and again when they arrive for their appointment.
Patients will be asked to use hand sanitizer at the front door upon arrival and their temperature will be taken.
All staff will be screened for illness at the start of the day and have their temperature taken. We have established a strict policy for staff who start to feel ill at work.
We will be adjusting appointments to ensure that patients do not need to wait in our reception area and to minimize interaction with other patients.
We support social distancing in the reception area and with the front desk team members. The number of visitors will be limited in our office.
We have established and posted occupancy limits throughout the office.
Magazines, newspapers and drinks are no longer available in the reception area.
We will ask patients to contact us by phone when they arrive for their appointment. They may be asked to wait in their vehicle until we have completed our sanitization procedures.
Hand sanitizer and hand washing stations will be available throughout the office.
We have always been and continue to be committed to keeping our office impeccably clean and sanitized. In response to the spread of COVID-19, we have increased the frequency of these cleaning routines.
All staff are trained on the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and will be wearing them.
The office has been equipped with six-stage air filtration units that clean and purify the indoor air.
Patients will be provided a pre-procedural rinse with 1% hydrogen peroxide.
As per the Provincial Health Officer and the BC CDC;
-anyone who has had symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 10 days must self-isolate at home; symptoms include fever, chills, new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, and new muscle aches or headache.
-anyone under the direction of the provincial health officer to self-isolate must follow those instructions
-anyone who has arrived from outside of Canada, or who is a contact of a confirmed COVID-19 case, to self-isolate for 14 days and monitor for symptoms
For additional information, please do not hesitate to contact our office.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
